Blowouts happen...

Always at the worst possible times. The poor child hadn't pooped in 5 days so I was on serious poop watch but on this particular day I was already running late to meet a friend for a walk (in the 90 degree heat) and had just gotten back from a Costco run (with no meltdowns... #winning). I had to run inside to drop off the groceries and grab the stroller so it was a quick turnaround. I brought K in the house, took her out of the carseat and layed her down on her play mat. Just as I was about to go run to get the groceries I saw the dog do a bee line over to her and start sniffing/licking her. I walked over to her and noticed a ring of poop on the front of her cute white onesie... Being the responsible Mom that I am, I ran back outside, grabbed the groceries and came back in to change K. As I picked her up from her mat, I noticed the poop stain left on the play mat only then do I realize she has sh*t literally everywhere (cue: vomit sounds). She has managed to not only poop through her diaper and onesie but all over the play mat and the car seat (not to mention she also has poop running down her legs at this point). I ran upstairs to her (mostly white) nursery to change her when I immediately realized that poopmageddon would be the end to that cute white changing table. I regrouped and decided to take her to the bathroom where instead of putting her in her bathtub I had no choice but to hose her down in the big people tub. A few hoses and a good wipe down and I was ready to give the poor girl a proper bath and get on with our day. Sigh. K lived to poop another day.
